Capital City Volunteers and the James Bay Community Project are saddened to hear about the passing of Nansi Blenkiron and would like to extend our heartfelt condolences to her family and friends.
Nansi was known as a deeply caring and compassionate person who supported seniors through her work with Capital City Volunteers and the Seniors’ Connections lunch for many years at the James Bay Community Project before retiring in 2014.
During her time with us, she helped so many people and became part of a family of volunteers, staff and participants who treasured her wonderful sense of humour, kindness and compassion.
She will be remembered dearly for her warmth and playfulness which endeared her to everyone who had the good fortune to work with her.
Our thoughts are with her family and friends at this sad time. We are grateful to have known her and she will be greatly missed.
